S.A.M. Consulting

Our Team

Steve Meyers is the President of S.A.M. CONSULTING.  He has been involved with consulting and the information system industry since 1975, when he worked for Mount Sinai Hospital. He has continued in the industry through today.  Steve founded S.A.M. CONSULTING in 1990 in response to what he saw as a need for computing support services.  Initially, the client base was limited to health care and hospitals.  However, the demand for networking services grew explosively and expansion into other vertical markets was a natural business evolution.

Steve has been employed or retained by KPMG, Coopers & Lybrand and SMS (Shared Medical Systems).  Some of the engagements and responsibilities held by Steve during this time included project management for installation of several hospital information systems including Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, Danbury Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  He has also worked as product manager for the development of a networked based data entry platform and a clinical order entry system for Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Operationally, Steve is in touch with the support staff on a daily basis.  This level of communication is important to keep in close contact with both client and staff needs and concerns.  With more than 100 years of experience in the industry, the staff of S.A.M. CONSULTING is able, ready and willing to support your needs.  Our experience is broad and our expertise is deep.
